The Federal Office for Agriculture and Food has published a new list with types of biomass for the biofuel sector.
You can download the list under Media Center/Information biofuel sector or https://www.ble.de/EN/Topics/Climate-Energy/Sustainable-Biomass-Production/Information-Nabisy/information-nabisy_node.html.
Please note:
- For better traceability of changes to existing or newly included biomass codes, the column "Updated / added on" has been added to the biomass code list. The date on which a change became known is entered there. However, changes that have been made since the respective previous update only take effect with the following update.
- The biomass codes 3826-w020305-01 and 15162-w020305-01 have been replaced by codes 3826-w020305-91 and 15162-w020305-91. For clarification, you will find the new, written-out production path below:
Implementation in the Nabisy biomass code list:
[Biodiesel / Hydrogenated oil] Hydrotreated oil from waste oils, fats or fatty acids that have been separated from the contents of grease traps, e.g. in restaurants, by specialised processing companies and must be re-esterified before processing into biofuel. This does not include waste oils, fats or fatty acids from sewage systems

Please note that the german description of the production pathway is abbreviated due to a character limit.
